Loneliness monster, this old lady will make your worst nightmares come true. She can even turn you into one, a hag or a troll. Someone who spreads their own misery by attacking others with it. Usually protected from reality by a screen. Too isolated to feel the love of the world around you, you’ll start to sink. She’ll drag you down to her miserable bottom. Where no fish dares to swim. She’s sneaky so you won’t recognise it at first. She’s good friends with depression monster and jellyfish, she might send them your way if you don’t call for help. I don’t think I need to explain this one. You’ve met her. She is hideous in her presence for some around the holidays, at birthdays, or nursing homes for the old and forgotten.. in everyday life? Or might that be to embarrassing.. rather than focusing on not dying alone, focus on not living alone. I don’t care how introverted you are, we all need someone. Just call, get out of your own way. Before the other monsters show up.
